LagosNPFLStars: Jamiu Alimi promises NPFL fans fascinating display on Sunday 


Fringe Home-based Super Eagles defender, Jamiu Alimi, has promised Lagos-based Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fans a fascinating performance ahead of the LagosNPFLStars match.


Over 40 Lagos-based NPFL player who currently play for various clubs in the country will be engaging themselves in a ceremonial match on Sunday October 21, 2018 at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium.


Speaking at a press conference held at the Soccer Temple on Friday Alimi said: "This  event is for all NPFL players in Lagos State and it afford
 us the opportunity to know ourselves better
and celebrate our origin as a thorough Lagos breed.


"I don't believe that we
have close to 40 players in the League who are
born in Lagos. This is amazing and I want to say kudos to everyone for coming together to make this a reality."

He however assured continued by assuring the fans of irresistible performance "The fans will be highly entertained this I can assure them.


"You know when players come together to play a match where they started their career, they will want to thrill the fans with beautiful display so I believe our fans will be fascinated on Sunday and the memory of the game will remain evergreen, he concluded.
