COPA LAGOS: Ejo 18 Man Squad Ready For Action

Ahead of the 4th edition of Copa Lagos which will hold from the 12th to 14th December 2014 at the dynamic Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island, Lagos – Nigeria, the Head Coach, Beach Soccer National Team Audu (Ejo) Adamu has released his 18 man squad who he believes can raise the bar for him.

The 18 players were chosen from top Nigeria Professional Footbal League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL), Local beach soccer team, Non League side and Football Academy.

The likes of Isiaka Olawale, Abu Azeez, Ogbonnaya Okemmiri kept their place in the team set up, former Warri Wolves man, Musa Najere was drafted in to join the new recruits of the beach soccer team.

Abdul Isah- Kaduna Utd.
Oladipo Olalekan- Owibeseb Beach Team.
Isiaka Olawale- Dolphins.
Okemmiri Ogbonnaya- Abia Warriors.
Victor Tale Shenene- Confluence Beach Team.
Abu Azeez- Warri Wolves.
Emeka Ogbonna- Leads Utd, Lagos.
Emma Ohweferia- Owibeseb Beach Team.
Babatunde Badmsus- Owibeseb Beach Team.
Musa Najere- Lobi Stars.
Danladi Isah- Sharks FC.
Wasiu Olajide Akinbitan- Badagry Beach Team.
Abutu Adofu- Confluence Beach Team.
Samuel Kuchili- Plateau Utd.
Idris Ahmed- Mighty Jets.
Atiku Sulaiman- Owibeseb Beach Team.
Wasiu Jimoh- Kwara Football Academy.
Ehiabi Festus- Bridge Boys.

Nigeria Beach Eagles who have won the COPA Lagos for record third times are in the same group with Germany, Lebanon and Senegal for the 2014 edition.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
