SGFC General Manager Roll Out Financial Support To A.A Salami

General manager of SGFC Athletics SC Olatoye Olawale has rolled out financial support to Adeola Adebayo Salami  who has decided to upgrade himself and has gone studying Sports Management course at the Nigeria Institute for Sports (NIS) in Lagos.

Adebayo Salami a top badge referee who appreciated the gesture for the philanthropist noted that the journey to upgrade himself in sports management started in November 2022.

"It's a journey I started in November last year it is a year program, a professional course", He said.

"What prompted me into going for the Sports Management course is that we need to prepare for life now that we still have the energy and strength because of the youthfulness we can still carry our legs.  A time is coming where that strength and youthfulness will not be there for us again to keep doing what we are doing now carrying withsle and start running around the field and because of the love I have for the round leather game, I thought of how i can still be relevant in the game and football circle, so I thought it would be a nice idea that I upgrade myself and that's why I decided to go into football management. He added.

The journalist cum football Administrator, Olatoye Olawale commended Salami for his zeal and effort to push forward thereby commiting his assistance to him.

" First, me as a person growing up I didn't really get much support like this except parenteral support though they didn't really support me playing football then, but I had it in mind that what I could not do I have to do it for people so I choose to go with the mantra which is putting smiles on people's face. And when I see people trying to elevate themselves, trying to plan and secure their future it is my obligation to always support them.

"A.A Salami has been an amazing brother I saw that determination in him when I realized he has decided to upgrade himself taking the course 'sports management'  I was marveled but then it was what we have to do. To support him because when you go study it always require a lot of financial commitment and that is why we are playing our own part by supporting him and seeing him through his study, and we hope every other sports and football stakeholders can also  always rally round to support such move", He opined.
