  Ikorodu City FC ended its first ever Federation Cup game with a 3-0 win over Crusaders FC of Bayelsa State, at the Dan Ayam Stadium, Owerri. Coach Dabiri made four changes to the side that started our Lagos FA Cup triumph over Smart City with Hassan, Taheer, Toheeb and Alex and back to the starting XI It was a quiet first ten minutes with no attempt on goal but Ikorodu City stamped their authority in the game and became familiar with the surface. The first goal came in the 41st minute after a great team play saw Hassan go past a defender and sent in low cross to Farouk Salami, who then put the ball beyond Crusader goalkeeper. The second half started with a change as Waliu Ojetoye replaced Gabriel Adewara who was feeling too well after the first 45 minutes. The Oga Boys quickly took command of the game, creating chances despite little scare from the opposition, forcing Victor into brilliant saves. Hassan missed a good chance before the Lagos-based team got the second goal of the game.

NLO Roll Out Programme For 2023 Season Kickoff

It will be a defining months of activities, starting this week for the Nationwide League One (NLO), as its Secretariat has put all in place for the kickoff of the 2023 season. The NLO is the nation's third-tier domestic league with more than 300 teams and academics battling it out. The Secretariat unveiled a two weeks programme that will define the smooth commencement of the season. According to its Media Channel, the NLO will hold a press briefing on Wednesday 26th April, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere-Lagos where it will address the media of activities lined up for the year and the unveiling of it's new sponsors, the biggest of them a telecommunications giants in May.  A week later, the 2023 Division One season will kick off with the curtain raiser, a Kano Derby between Kano Pillars Jnr and Kwankwasiya FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday, May 3rd. The Nationwide League One (NLO) has given its high definition live streaming broadcast production capacity a huge boost with the purchase of more equipment ahead of the 2023 season kickoff. Poised to give its fans quality content and showcase the rich grassroot football culture of Nigeria to a larger audience, the NLO bought three each Canon XF 100 Handheld camcorder 2.37 MP CMOS Full HD Black Broadcast quality camera, core i7 HP Laptops, HDMI Video Capture, HDMI Cables, and generating sets, to compliment with the existing ones. The boost of its production capacity entails that the NLO has now expanded its live stream broadcast of matches from the North West, North East, South-South, and South East regions. New NLO Season: 33 Stadium League Venues To Host Matches

To hit the ground running, the Nationwide League One (NLO) has listed 33 Stadium League venues for the 2023 Division One season which is scheduled to kick off Wednesday, April 26. The NLO Secretariat via its Media Channel on Thursday informed of the development clubs. According to the nation's third-tier domestic league, the 33 Stadium League venues were strategically drawn each from the five geo-political zones, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. In keeping with commitments made to clubs to ensure a hitch-free season, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Olushola Ogunnowo said: "The 2023 NLO campaign will begin on April 26, with interesting fixtures in the 33 Stadium League venues that have been approved. NLO 2023 Season: League Body Unveils Strict Registration Guidelines

The Secretariat of the Nationwide League One (NLO) has released a strict registration guidelines for clubs in Division One, as it prepares to kick start the 2023 season in April. The development arose after the  Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) directed the NLO Secretariat to commence registration for the 2023 season with amendments to registration charges after seven (7) years of maintenance due to current inflation in the prices of materials used for clubs' registration. Sequel to the above, the NLO has informed all the clubs in the nation's third-tier league that preparation for the 2023 season has commenced, and made the registration procedures and guidelines public on Monday.   Strategic partners of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL),  GTI Group have revealed that their mission is to put in place a structured, reformed and transparent football ecosystem in the country working with the Interim Management Committee (IMC).
