The tenure of the Anambra state football Association expires next month with fresh elections imminent but the devastating effect of the Coronavirus pandemic calls for urgent action, prompting the congress to call for an extraordinary meeting. In the absence of Anambra state FA chairman, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the congress went ahead as planned as members observed all the rules of social gathering in order to stay in line with the federal government directives.
